When Life Is Full
A note from a week that didn’t leave much room for writing, but offered plenty of room for living.
A small note to say how grateful I am that you’re here.
My prayer is that these words would be met slowly, with space to breathe and reflect.
Dear friends,
This week is full.
Family is still here.
The house is louder than usual.
Life feels lived-in, not organized.
So today, I’m not arriving with a full letter.
I’m arriving as I am.
I’m noticing how easy it is, in full weeks like this,
to feel behind on our inner lives,
as if reflection requires quiet rooms and uninterrupted time.
But maybe it doesn’t.
Maybe becoming happens just as much
in shared meals,
in tired bodies,
in conversations that stretch late,
in moments where we don’t get to tidy ourselves up first.
So this week, I’m leaving you with one simple question to carry… not to answer quickly, just to notice:
As I step into this new year, where might life be inviting me to soften rather than strive?
No journaling required.
No clarity needed.
Just notice what comes up as you move through your days.
I’ll be back next week with more space and a fuller letter.
Until then, may you feel permission to live where you are,
not rushing past it,
not needing to extract meaning from it,
just being present within it.
With gentleness,
Janelle
